GFT: A Hayao Miyazaki Retrospective
The brief for this project was to choose a director of my choice and promote a retrospective screening of their films. This was via the use of a typographic visual language.
The end output was to create A3 sized posters as well as the accompanying collateral. My designs were influenced by classic Japanese calligraphy as well as contemporary Japanese poster design; my director of choice was Hayao Miyazaki, known for his heart-warming, colourful animations.
